The International Labour Organisation (ILO) Certification Programme for Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) Trainers offers participants the opportunity to become certified trainers for the ILO-SIYB training packages. The training provides training of trainers in both content and methodological issues. It is a necessary certification for any trainer working as a Business Development Service (BDS) provider and striving to make a real difference in the lives of new or existing entrepreneurs.

 

Developing competent SIYB trainers takes more than just classroom training during the TOT. What makes the SIYB programme a distinct package is the system for training entrepreneurs which includes simple and practical application of business concepts to the life situation of entrepreneurs. SIYB trainer candidates are introduced to the SIYB approach and system of developing potential and existing entrepreneurs. The trainer development cycle is designed to develop a competent SIYB trainer capable for adapting and implementing the SIYB programme for various target groups.
